Efforts to attract investment
(QNO) - Tam Ky city is taking steps to promote investment attractions in industry, trade in services and tourism thanks to available advantages and efforts.

Positive signals
The report of Tam Ky city’s People’s Committee shows that the values of industrial production and trade in services in the first 6 months reach nearly 1,000 billion VND and 4,000 billion VND respectively, both rising compared to the same period last year. Just in 2014, there were 10 large and medium-sized enterprises investing in Thuan Yen Industrial Zone, typically Japanese plastic technology enterprise, Thai pineapple factory, South Korean KL Texwell Co. Ltd, Nguyen Kim Trading Join Stock Company (JSC), Ngoc Linh Ginseng JSC, Thinh Phu Co. Ltd. On the base of these investments, industry and trade in services in the city will be improved and bettered, which creates a positive change in the future economic structure.
“ We will go on attracting investment through the technical infrastructure completion and economics workshops to introduce investment promotions and help businesses,” said Director of the Development Center for Tam Ky Industry and Trade in Services Zones Do Van Minh.

Tourism potential exploitation
A Tam Ky’s master plan by 2030, towards 2050 was announced at the end of 2014. In this plan, the tourism development projects will be approved in turn, including the preservation, restoration and promotion of Ky Anh tunnel- a revolutionary historical relic with nearly 4,000 billion VND, the 100-billion-VND project of Ha Thanh ecotourism and seaside resort, the park along the banks of the Ban Thach, An Ha Hill cultural tourism area, Pagoda Mountain relics area in Quang Phu. These projects have attracted some businesses’ investment. Muong Thanh Group invested over 450 billion VND to build a hotel-trade in services complex area at 101 Huynh Thuc Khang, Tam Ky. Hoi An Service-Tourism JSC has built the Tam Thanh Resort with nearly 30 billion VND.
There are now many tours to Confucian Shrine, Ky Anh tunnel, Quang Nam Museum, the Heroic Mother statue, Tam Thanh seaside, Phu Ninh lake. Besides, the tourism popularization has also been paid more attention to attract businesses to ask for investment.
