A seminar on development of traditional handicraft and fine art products
(QNO) - A seminar on the development of the Quang Nam traditional handicraft and fine art products was jointly organized by the Provincial Project Management Board and Minamiboso city’s International Cooperation Agency (Japan) on October 22nd. This was as activity of the project funded by JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and Minamiboso city. Mr Fumio Kato- head of JICA project in Vietnam participated in this event.
At the seminar, Japanese experts focused on exchanging the related contents such as: conditions needed for the development of products, characteristics and impacts of colour on products’ configuration. In the past time, many support components for the development of traditional craft villages in Quang Nam were deployed by JICA. The highlighted supports are the equipment with a value of 260 million VND for the agarwood craft villages, nearly 270 million VND to build a stall for handicraft and fine art products exhibition and sale, for propagation of Quang Nam tourism and cultural potentials in Binh An rest stop.
On this occasion, these experts gave their ideas of colour, design of the typical products exhibited at the seminar and of the way to penetrate into markets.
