Ecological lifestyle to the youth and community
(QNO) - 30 young leaders from universities of Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar will take part in a training workshop “Finding Eco 2” organized in Hoi An city of Quang Nam province from 5th – 11th November 2015.
The event will introduce the roles and activities of the ecological lifestyle to solve global challenges such as using effectively natural resources and bio-diversity conservation, decreasing and adapting the climate change, social welfare… to the youth.
This is also an opportunity for young people in the region to exchange the difficulties and challenges which they are confronting in the process of development, study and find out the effective solutions and actions for a sustainable development.
According to the organizer, the main aims of the training workshop are to inspire the “youth leaders” to apply ecological lifestyle, test and develop a toolkit to train ecological lifestyle for students, other youth organizations and communities in Vietnam and Asian countries.
Through the topics such as influences of individual lifestyles, social and economic branches’ operation and governmental policies on environment, climate change and natural resources, the effects of the current lifestyle on communities, producers and policy drawers, the environmental problems happening in Vietnam and neighbour countries, the participants will study, discuss and find out the methods (for applying and) of spreading the eco-message and ecological lifestyle to the community around…
The event is organized by the Center for Development of Community Initiative and Environment (C&E Center) with the support from Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southeast Asia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam.
