"Audio guides" used at the Hoi An Museum of Trade Ceramics
(QNO) - Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation has just coordinated with ELDE & DE Tourism Services and Media Join Stock Company to put handheld devices into use at the Hoi An Museum of Trade Ceramics 80 Tran Phu street, Minh An ward).
When visiting this place, visitors have to pay a dollar an hour (equivalent to 20000 VND/h) for using audio guides. They can choose one of three languages Vietnamese, English or Japanese, enter the code corresponding to the information to listen to the contents of the exhibits at the museum. Putting audio guides into use will replace traditional commentary from guides and help visitors actively choose, access and capture information at will. Thereby, visitors can learn more about history and culture of Hoi An land and people.
Reportedly, Hoi An Museum of Trade Ceramics is a place showcasing 268 original artifacts dating from ninth century to nineteenth century, discovered at archaeological sites in Hoi An.
