Tam Ky urban development programme towards 2020 approved
(QNO) - “The Tam Ky urban development programme toward 2020 and vision of 2030” has recently been approved by the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee.
The programme is to push up rapidly the economic development and structure transfer basing on commerce – service and industry in order to change strongly the urban agricultural development and build new rural society, enlarge urban space, upgrade the urban life quality, control environment, ensure social well-fare, security and national defense as well as use strictly planed land…
The main aim of the programme is to mobilize all social power resources to build Tam Ky urban and achieve the basic criteria framework of a “second class urban” in 2016 and fully done programme in 2020. It consists of main criteria by 5-year period, year by year criteria of the first stage (2016-2020), the list and route of urban investment, prior urban development areas to be invested in the first stage (2016-2020).
Reportedly, the total capital for developing Tam Ky urban from 2016 to 2030 is over 30,261 billion VND with the prior projects in the period 2016-2020 about 11, 818 billion VND.
