The Hoang Sa Exhibition House starts building
(QNO) - The ground breaking ceremony for building Hoang Sa Exhibition House was held on 7th December 2015 by the People’s Committee of Hoang Sa district (Da Nang city). This 4-storey construction worths 40 billion VND and covers an area of 1,200m2 at the Hoang Sa- Phan Ba Phien intersection of Son Tra district (Da Nang city).

The architectural design called “Viet Nam’s Sovereign Seal” that won the second prize (no first prize) in Design competition for Hoang Sa Exhibition House 2014 was chosen for the house. It is created by a group of architects: Fuminori Minakami from Wright Architecture Company of Japan and Viet Nam's Tran Quoc Thanh and Nguyen Huy Quang.
The Hoang Sa Exhibition House will be a cultural and historical institution that brings a special political meaning. The house will display many valued historical document, legal evidences, information, maps and lively images which have been published by other countries around the world affirming Viet Nam’s sacred sovereignty over the Hoang Sa archipelago.
Besides, there is a system of maps, general sand tables on natural geography and administration location of Truong Sa archipelego and Truong Sa dictrict that supported by technical means, multi-media art… All materials and documents in the exhibition house are the strong evidences for the Vietnam’s just struggle to guard Viet Nam’s sacred sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Parael) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos.
The construction will finish building and put into operation in 2016.
