One million Japanese yen for victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin
(QNO) - On December 21st, Standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial Union of Friendship Organizations (QUFO) Hoang Chau Sinh received writer Hiramatsu Tomoko- member of Japan-Vietnam Council for Peace and Friendship (JVPF), Saitama province.
At the reception, Ms Tomoko offered QUFO one million yen collected from JVPF’s members to help Quang Nam victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin. According to Mr Sinh, this amount of money aims to build 3 houses for the most difficult victims. These houses will be among 20 ones funded by JVPF in Quang Nam province.
