The delegation from Hamyang learning about Ngoc Linh ginseng
(QNO) - On April 18, Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu played host to the delegation from Hamyang district (Gyeongsangnam province, South Korea) led by its chief Lim Chang Ho.

At the meeting, Chairman Thu said Hamyang and Nam Tra My (Quang Nam province) districts signed a Memmorandum of Understanding of setting up the friendship and cooperative relationship in many fields, especially in Ngoc Linh ginseng development. He hoped Hamyang district would support Nam Tra My district to preserve and develop Ngoc Linh ginseng with their experiences and techniques, make it become a national and international trade name step by step.
In reply, district chief Lim reaffirmed the aims of their visit to Quang Nam province agreeing with Mr Thu’s suggestions. Mr Lim also invited Chairman Thu to take part in the 13th Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival in 2016 in South Korea to learn about how people in Hamyang district make their ginseng become an international trade name.
