Jetstar opens flights from Hanoi to Chu Lai and Phu Cat airports
(QNO) - Jetstar Pacific has announced new regional routes, with the budget airline set to fly from Hanoi into Chu Lai International Airport in Quang Nam Province and Phu Cat Airport in Binh Dinh Province.
The airline announced on April 29 it has already started selling tickets on the new routes and would start flying them three times a week on June 1 utilizing 180 passenger Airbus A320 aircraft.
The route comes about as part of a new code-sharing strategy between Jetstar Pacific and national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines, said Le Hong Ha, CEO of Jetstar, and is part of a strategy to diversify and promote tourism in the localities.
On the occasion, Jetstar is offering special US$1.50 one-way regional launch fares through May 1 for the first 2,000 purchasers.
