Clean Up the World 2016
(QNO) - Clean Up the World, launched by Australia in 1993, is one of the largest community based environmental campaigns in the world. It is annually held over the third weekend of September. Hundreds of millions of volunteers from over 130 countries take part in this campaign.

Vietnam has responded to this campaign since 1994. This year, Quang Nam province will host this event under the theme of taking action for a green and sustainable urban environment. Quang Nam is appreciated as one of the localities that has got positive changes in climate change responses, natural resources management, sustainable tourism and economic development.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, the environmental issues in urban areas are being concerned. A lot of programs, projects, and campaigns have taken place all over the nation for green – clean – beautiful urban environment.
