Sustainable tourism development in Vietnam in terms of climate change
(QNO) - On 10 August, a consultation workshop on the draft guidelines on sustainable tourism development in Vietnam in terms of climate change was jointly held in Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) by the EU- ESRT Project Management Board and the provincial Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.

The draft guidelines developed by the experts of the EU-ESRT project has been built based on the ideas from the relevant agencies and tourism businesses in the central coastal region. It aims to help Vietnam National Administration of Tourism make policies and action plans.
The workshop aimed to share information on the draft, consult the concerned parties and identify prior actions relating to climate change, develop strategies and plan for tourism development from 2017.
