Wernigerode Trees Street in Hoi An
(QNO) – Wernigerode Trees Street in Hoi An is the first green street to be regarded as an evidence of the twin cities relationship between Hoi An and Wernigerode (Germany). It is over 200m on Ton Duc Thang Street (Tan An Ward), from Doan Thi Diem junction to Le Hong Phong intersection.

At the launching ceremony of tree planting movement for sister cities relationship between Wernigerode and Hoi An on October 20, Deputy Chairman of the Wernigerode City Council Siegfried Siegel mentioned to the benefits of tree planting and hoped this significant activity to be maintained in the two cities.

Reportedly, Hoi An received a support of 1000 Euros from Wernigerode city to plant 40 golden oaks first. Wernigerode also plans to make green the whole street and hand over it to Hoi An then.
