A thousand-year-old banyan tree in Tay Giang district
(QNO) Tay Giang district People’s Committee (Quang Nam province) registered with Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment on recognizing a banyan (about 1,200 years old) as a national heritage tree.

The tree is nearly 5m in diameter with an over 80m-wide canopy. It is in a forest (about 1,200m above sea level) in Arieu hamlet, Tr’hy commune, Tay Giang district. It takes you about one hour to reach this tree.
