A 14 million USD project on forest ecosystem protection

(QNO) - The Truong Son Xanh project has been submitted to the Government of Vietnam for approval. It will be implemented in Quang Nam province with an amount of US $ 14 million funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in the period of 2017-2020.

The objectives of this ODA-funded project are to create conditions for the province to turn to use land more smartly for climate; to enhance resilience of the forest to protect people, forest landscapes and biodiversity; and to support economic development of the province.

The project will be implemented in 7 districts of the province: Dong Giang, Tay Giang, Nam Giang, Phuoc Son, Nong Son, Bac Tra My, Nam Tra My.
