(QNO) - The Vietnam-Asia Silk and Brocade Cultural Festival 2017 takes place on June 12-13 in Hoi An silk village (Quang Nam province) with the participation of the silk production corporations from China, Japan, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Myanmar, 12 silk and brocade villages in Vietnam, International Silk Association, Silk Association of Asia and so on.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, Vice Chairman Thanh emphasized the festival aims to honour weaving jobs, weaving products to keep and promote the national cultural values. It is also a chance to exchange experiences in silk and brocade production effectively and act as a bridge to bring Vietnam’s silk and brocade products to the world.
