Japanese Ambassador Kunio Umeda: "I will propagate Hoi An to Japanese tourists"
(QNO) - Speaking at the opening of the 15th Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange programme on August 19 in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Kunio Umeda committed to propagate the Hoi An city’s attractiveness to his country’s tourists. According to Mr.Umeda Kunio, 2017 is the year of Vietnam-Japan best relationship, with the formal visit of Japan’s King and Queen and the mutual visits of Prime Ministers of Vietnam and Japan as well as the exchange of the two countries’ leaders and people.

In reply, Vice Chairman of the Hoi An city’s People Committee Nguyen Van Son said the Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange creates a chance for Japanese people and tourists to enjoy, experience and take part in interesting Hoi An-Japan art and cultural activities.
