Hoi An is the 5th cheapest destination in the world

(QNO) – Hoi An city (Quang Nam province) ranks fifth of the lowest price destinations in the world, which has just been announced by postoffice.co.uk in its Post Office Long Haul Holiday Report 2017.

The table is compiled from the price data of 10 commodities including: a cup of filter coffee, a bottle of local lager, a bottle/can of Coca‑Cola, a glass of wine, a cocktail, a small chocolate bar (58g mars/snickers), a bottle of still mineral water (1.5 litre), a suncream (spf15 nivea), an insect repellent (small bottle/tube), and a 3-course evening meal for two adults.

Hoi An ranks fifth with a total cost of £76.74. It was at 11th last year. According to the report, Tokyo city (Japan) overtakes Cape Town (South Africa) to top the list of the lowest cost tourist sites. The travel cost in Tokyo has fallen 23% compared to last year (ranking third). The most expensive destination is Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) with a total cost of £160 for 10 items above.
