Connection and cooperation in local product development

(QNO) - A workshop on cooperation and connection in local product development has jointly held by the Quang Nam Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD) and the International Relief and Development (FIDR).

At the workshop, Professor Ikuko Miyahara- a Japanese expert in local power research had an exchange and discussion with the trainees about the local product development. The discussion also mentioned the role and missions of each local service. At the workshop, some typical models of Japanese local product development were introduced.

The workshop contributed to the training of key human resources of the localities in Quang Nam, and the effective implementation of the “One Commune One Product” programme in the province in the coming time.

Reportedly, another workshop on speeding up local products consumption will be held by DARD and FIDR on March 27. Community Economics Specialist Seako Noda from Japan was appointed to present this topic to the trainees at that time.
