Quang Nam attracts 153 FDI projects

(QNO) - Reportedly, there are nearly 6,000 businesses in Quang Nam province now, including 153 FDI (foreign direct investment) projects with a total registered capital of 5.58 billion USD. In the first three months of this years, 5 FDI projects were licensed with a total capital of nearly 12.4 million USD.

According to Chief of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Secretariat Nguyen Hong Quang, Quang Nam has advantageous potentials and strength in industrial development, infrastructure, skilled labour, and its fast growth rate. The prior investment fields include building infrastructure of industrial parks, manufacturing mechanism, support industry for automobile manufacturing and assembly, electricity, electronics, textile-garment, footwear, construction materials, agro-forestry-fisheries processing, hi-tech agriculture, medicinal plants.
