Closing ceremony of the Japan Cultural Days in Quang Nam

(QNO) - The  "Japan Cultural Days in Quang Nam" and "The 16th Hoi An – Japan Cultural Exchange 2018" event ended with a magnificent closing ceremony in Hoi An city on the evening of August 19 after three days of continuous activities. Present at the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Nam provincial Party Committee Phan Viet Cuong, Quang Nam’s and Japanese representatives.

The “Japan Cultural Days in Quang Nam” and “The 16th Hoi An – Japan Cultural Exchange 2018” included many meaningful and practical activities. They were a Memorandum of Understanding of economic cooperation, investment promotion, a seminar on building smart urban area related to environmental protection, a discussion about Japanese culture, exhibitions of photos and handicraft products, folk games… The event was a manifestation of the longstanding Vietnam – Japan friendship and cultural exchanges.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh emphasized the meticulous arrangement of Japanese folk cultural performances such as the item of Minori Daiko drum team from Ibaraki Prefecture, Oban, Kagura and Yosakoi dances. Also, the participation of Tourism Goodwill Ambassador" - Ueno Yuuka (a Japanese singer) and other Japanese singers, artists, artisans made the “Japan Cultural Days in Quang Nam” and “The 16th Hoi An – Japan Cultural Exchange 2018” deeper in friendship, more vibrant, and more interesting.

Likewise, Vice Chairman Thanh confirmed the importance of the exchanges and cooperation between Quang Nam and Japanese localities and partners through these cultural exchanges. Both Vietnam and Japan have a thirst for a bright future, peace and prosperity, a comprehensive strategic partnership for peace and development. The friendship between the two countries will be strengthened and the Vietnam and Japan relations will be more and more developed.
