Quang Nam at the conference on 30 years of FDI attraction

(QNO) - A conference has just been held at the National Conference Centre in Ha Noi to look back the last 30 years of Vietnam’s FDI (foreign direct investment) attraction. Present at the conference were Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and leaders of Vietnamese ministries and departments.

Quang Nam contributed an exhibition stall of their achievements in FDI attraction to the conference.

Quang Nam’s exhibition stall generally presented the provincial achievements in FDI attraction during the last 30 years. It was also a place to popularize Quang Nam’s potential and strength, contributing to creating opportunities for more investment attraction and prospects of provincial socioeconomic development.

On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Dinh Van Thu and South Korean Hyosung Corporation. The MoU is about the project on building a cluster of plants and factories in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone. At the same time, the Decision on adjustment of investment policy and the investment registration certificate were given to the German Yantex Holding GmbH’s project on manufacturing equipment and tools used in the textile industry and other related sectors.
