Hoi An - one of the most economical destinations in the world

(QNO) - Hoi An ranks 11th on the list of the most cost-effective tourist destinations in the world by the Insider (USA).

Spring may be the best time for traveling. However, how much a person should spend visiting another place is always a consideration. The Insider has recently posted a ranking of 19 friendly tourist destinations with the wallet in 2019. And Hoi An is one of them.

The list is a result of collecting information about traveling from travel agencies around the world based on the prices of 8 essential product groups such as food and drinks, drugs.

With an average total of USD 86.87 for products including a cup of coffee, a bottle of beer, a can of coke, a bottle of wine, a 1.5l bottle of fresh water, a tube of sunscreen, a tube of mosquito repellent and a dinner for two, Hoi An ranked 11th.

In terms of price, Hoi An is more attractive than some other highlights of Asia such as Penang (Malaysia- USD 107.89) and Phuket (Thailand- USD 103.11).

Hoi An is a small city in Quang Nam province, Central Vietnam. It is a famous tourist destination with a UNESCO World Heritage Site as Hoi An ancient town. It owns several typical architectural works  located on the banks of Thu Bon river.

Coming here, visitors can contemplate the temples of hundreds of years old, Chinese public houses, traditional festivals and a typical culinary culture.

Hoi An ancient town is also the only representative of Vietnam to reach the top 50 best destinations in the world in 2019 according to the ranking of the famous travel magazine Travel and Leisure.
