Quang Nam's response to the World Environment Day
(QNO) - To respond to the World Environment Day (June 5), the World Oceans Day (June 8) and the Vietnam Sea and Island Week (June 1-8), Quang Nam province has held a meeting in the Dien Nam-Dien Ngoc Industrial Park. At the meeting, the movement against plastic waste and for environment, gender and oceans was launched.
Giving a speech at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Tri Thanh appealed to everyone for limiting pollutants in the environment and protecting oceans, giving women and children the rights related to oceans.
Besides, a lot of activities about the Vietnam Sea and Island Week and the World Environment Day have been taking place, especially the movement against plastic waste.
After the meeting, several trees were planted in the area of the Dien Nam- Dien Ngoc Industrial Park.
