Seminar on medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia

(QNO) - The international scientific seminar under the theme “Cultural exchanges at medieval international ports in Vietnam and Southeast Asia” was organized in Hoi An city on July 12 by the Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh city, the Hoi An Center for Cultural Heritage Management and Preservation and the Social Life Research Institute.

More than 100 articles were sent to the seminar from domestic and foreign scientists. They focused on the establishment of the trade ports, the impacts of cultural and trade exchanges in Southeast Asia and South Asia at the medieval international ports of Vietnam and Southeast Asia, communal cultural exchanges at the trade ports of Vietnam and Ayutthaya (Thailand); Muara Jati – Cirebon (Indonesia), Penang (Malaysia), Sulu (Philippines), Nagasaki (Japan)…
