Tourism promotion through sports
(QNO) - The International Women’s Volleyball Tournament- VTV Cup 2019 taking place in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province from 3 to 10 August becomes a good chance for Quang Nam tourism promotion.
The images of Quang Nam landscapes and tourist sites have been on VTV and other domestic and international media before and during the event. They are the Vietnam’s heroic mother statue, Temple of literature, Tam Thanh mural village, Tam Thanh beach, Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary, Cam Thanh nipa forest… The event is the good chance for Quang Nam to introduce its images to everyone around the world, especially the countries attending the event.
Besides exhibitions and trailers for Quang Nam tourism, Quang Nam has planned to bring the volleyball teams to its tourist sites. They are considered tourism ambassadors who will help promote Quang Nam tourism, interesting and charming destinations in Southern Quang Nam and Tam Ky city to the public effectively.
In addition to meeting the people’s cultural and spiritual demands, the International Women's Volleyball Tournament- VTV Cup 2019 helps strengthen the exchanges and cooperative relationships for the development of culture, sports and tourism between Quang Nam and international partners. It is an opportunity to introduce and promote Quang Nam's land and people, cultural heritages, and typical tourism products. Hopefully, they will be impressive and attractive to visitors.
