It is the locals’ awareness of cultural conservation and promotion that contributes to the preservation of cultural characteristics there.

Brocade is a symbol of Co Tu culture. Brocade weaving is one of the skills that all Co Tu girls must have when they are mature.

In Dho Roong village, brocade products are very diversified in shape, models and decorative patterns; therefore, they are very popular with visitors.

Talking about Co Tu ethnic people, we can’t help mentioning the dance of tang-tung da-da. The dance is also called that of dedication to God in the hope of a better life.

So, its gong rhythm is always enjoyable and boisterous. Both men and women can join the dance. Visitors to the village like the dance very much and they also dance with the villagers.

Besides brocade and tang-tung da-da dance, other Co Tu ethnic cultural values have been well-preserved and effectively promoted. Therefore, the local life has been improved.
