A new wave of investment in Eastern Quang Nam

Masses of new projects have been implemented in Eastern Quang Nam after the planning adjustment of the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone (OEZ) was approved by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in December 2019

One of the key projects in this period is on building and dealing in industrial park infrastructure carried out by Truong Hai Auto Joint Stock Company with a total registered capital of VND 2.095 trillion.

Another project is the Tai Anh Chu Lai Center for goods transportation and distribution invested by Tai Anh Timber Market Investment, Import and Export Company with a total registered capital of VND 517.6 billion. One more significant project is the Gas and Gas Power Plant in Central Regions I and II by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group.

Besides, there are 19 more projects licensed with the total registered capital of over VND 45.1 trillion, equivalent to USD 1.93 billion. 9 of them are FDI projects with a USD 135-million registered capital.

The remarkable projects are Ha Thanh Marine Complex invested by Tan Tam Thanh Co. Ltd.; New Zealand’s Aviation School- Eagle Flight Training in Vietnam by Eagle Flight Training Limited, and an airbag fabric factory by Hyosung Co. Ltd. in Quang Nam.

Up to now, there are 170 projects with over VND 116 trillion (equivalent to USD 5.36 billion) invested in the Chu Lai OEZ. 50 of them are FDI projects with a registered capital of over USD 772 million.
