According to Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith, the Dien Nam – Dien Ngoc Industrial Park is a spotlight of Vietnam in investment attraction and service development, in association with the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, contributing to bringing Quang Nam from the poorest province to a good one of Vietnam.

Thanks to the simplification of investment licensing procedures, the Dien Nam- Dien Ngoc Industrial Park has attracted big investors from Europe and the United States. This industrial park is now accounting for 20% of the industrial values and 40% of export turnover of Quang Nam province.

Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith highly appreciated the growth of Quang Nam and invited Vietnamese investors to Laos after the Covid-19 epidemic is successfully controlled in both countries. He said that the Government of Laos would facilitate Vietnamese businesses.

Also on this occasion, Quang Nam shared the experience of fighting Covid-19 with Lao Prime Minister. Up to now, Vietnam has basically controlled the Covid-19 epidemic.

All tourist attractions, Hoi An included, have reopened since June 1, 2020. Earlier, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith agreed about stepping up commercial exchange and soon resuming travel, especially reopening air routes between the two countries.
