VND 400-billion project on high-tech agricultural complex
The development of biotechnology and construction of high-tech agricultural complexes are of keys in Quang Nam provincial strategy 2030 for scientific development.
On July 18, the ground-breaking ceremony of a high-tech agricultural complex took place in Que Tho commune, Hiep Duc district.
The project is highly appreciated. It will provide a large number of jobs for the locals, contributing to their income increase and local poverty alleviation.
At the same time, the project also helps increase the added value of agricultural products in the direction of restructuring the agricultural sector.
According to Deputy Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Ho Quang Buu, science and technology plays a key role in the restructuring of agricultural sector in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 nowadays.
The VND 400 billion high-tech agricultural complex covers an area of 50 hectares, including a centre for biotechnology, an area of concentrated animal husbandry equipped with modern technology.
It is expected that the complex coming into operation will help local farmers learn and apply advanced technology in their production. The local agricultural products will meet the demands of domestic and overseas markets.
