Priorities to economic models of innovation
The Quang Nam programme of investment promotion 2020 has issued in Decision No. 2446 by the provincial People’s Committee.
Accordingly, Quang Nam focuses on investment promotion in supporting industries; the processing industries of agro-forestry-aquatic products and building materials; high-tech farming; projects on planting and processing medicinal herbs; animal husbandry; investing and dealing in infrastructure at industrial parks and clusters, the airport and seaports, urban areas among others in order to attract leading technology companies from Japan, South Korea, the USA, and Europe.
Quang Nam gives priorities to the development of economic models of innovation.
The content of the Quang Nam programme of investment promotion 2020 includes research and assessment of market potential, of investment trend and partners; database building for investment promotion activities; making a list of projects calling for investment; preparing publications about investment environment, policies, potential, opportunities and cooperation for investment promotion; improving the provincial capacities of investment promotion; speeding up the domestic and international cooperation in investment promotion.
At the same time, there are several solutions to make the programme successful, such as perfecting the mechanisms and policies on investment attraction, strengthening infrastructure investment and development, improving the quality of human resources, and bettering the investment promotion capacities.
In the period of 2020-2021, the priorities are also given to the motive projects in the West and Southeast regions, infrastructure in the industrial parks and clusters, trade in services, agriculture, education and training, culture and sports.
