Quang Nam’s cassava noodles exported to Thailand

The first batch of cassava noodles was exported to Thailand on September 13, opening up the opportunity to promote cassava noodles of Vietnam’s Quang Nam province abroad.

Ms. Lê Thi Kim Anh, co-founder of Caromi company said, this batch of goods weighs 60kg. It was sent to Central Group in Thailand.

In order to export cassava noodles to Thailand, Caromi tries its best to ensure the requirements of the product quality and design.

Caromi was founded by the couple Bui Ngoc Anh and Le Thi Kim Anh. In 2018, the project "Caromi Cassava Noodles" won the first prize at the National Innovation Talent Contest for Start-ups in the South-Central Coast and Central Highlands region.

Now, cassava noodles are present at big domestic supermarkets such as Co.opMart, VinMart ...

At the end of September 2019, Caromi cassava noodles were invited to take part in the “Week of Vietnamese Goods in Thailand” and the products were popular with Thai people. After that fair, Central Group and Caromi company started their negotiations through intermediary partners in Vietnam.

Besides Central Group, Caromi now has another distributor in Thailand. Caromi hopes to sell products through Amazon – one of the largest e-commerce websites in the world.
