Action plan for climate change adaptation
An action plan to respond to climate change in the period of 2021-2025 and towards 2050 was issued by the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee on September 21, 2020.
The plan focuses on identifying the trend of climate change and sea level rise.
At the same time, the plan also study the challenges and opportunities from climate change for the development of each local economic sector, giving solutions to climate change problems in each period (i.e. 2021-2025, 2026-2030 and towards 2050) and suggestions for the provincial development.
The Quang Nam provincial People's Committee has considered possible impacts of climate change, opportunities and challenges for the provincial socio-economic development in the coming time.
So, Quang Nam has given some solutions including institutions and policies, climate change adaptation capacity and greenhouse gas emission mitigation.
