Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao PDR visits Quang Nam University
(QNO)-Mr. Sengphet Hungbunnhuong, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) to Vietnam, had a working visit to Quang Nam University on the afternoon of April 12.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Huynh Trong Duong, Rector of Quang Nam University summarized the cooperation in training and education between Quang Nam and Lao localities, mainly Sekong and Champasak provinces.
There have been thousands of Lao officials and students graduating from Quang Nam university and colleges. At present, nearly 300 Lao students are studying in Quang Nam.
Mr. Sengphet Hungbunnhuong thanked for the support Quang Nam has provided for Lao localities. He also expressed his gratitude to Quang Nam university and other colleges for facilitating Lao students’ study.
On this occasion, Mr. Sengphet Hungbunnhuong had a talk with Lao students in Quang Nam and took part in the Lao New Year celebration (Bunpimay) in Quang Nam.
