Building Tam Ky smart city
(QNO)-The project on Tam Ky smart city has just been approved by the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee.
The project funded by the Korea International Cooperation Agency is expectedly implemented from 2021 to 2025 with a total investment of 10 million USD.
The project will build the smart infrastructure and services in the urban area. It will create a capacity of urban competitiveness and management, fostering the local socio-economic growth, attracting domestic and foreign investment, including that of Korean investors, in Tam Ky in particular and Quang Nam province in general. Besides, the project promotes the cooperative relation between Vietnam and Korea.
The project will focus on developing the data base for smart services, for the process of building and managing smart complex urban planning.
The model of Tam Ky smart city will be replicated in Quang Nam and other localities nationwide if it is effective.
