Suggestion for Quang Nam tourism promotion abroad
(QNO) - Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Tan has just taken part in an online seminar with the delegation of Vietnamese Ambassadors and Consuls General abroad for the 2021-2024 term and representatives from 18 provinces and cities in Central Vietnam and Central Highland.
Giving a speech at the event, Vice Chairman Tan took up a suggestion of Quang Nam tourism promotion abroad with the assistance of these Vietnamese ambassadors and Consuls General in 2022.
He said that Quang Nam was ready for a national conference to introduce provincial tourist attractions and cultural diversity to the public, especially overseas Vietnamese.
Also, Vice Chairman Tan asked for the help from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the US to introduce 3 Quang Nam’s major projects to American investors.
They include building the infrastructure for trading: an industrial park specialising raw materials and accessories for the garment industry in the Chu Lai Open Economic Zone, Chu Lai Airport Aviation Industry Centre, and an international resort hospital in Thang Binh district.
At the same time, he asked the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to India to help Quang Nam get more support from the Government of India and other agencies with the restoration of My Son Sanctuary- a UNESCO world cultural heritage.
In addition, Vice Chairman Tan wished these ambassadors and Consuls General to assist Quang Nam with calling for non-governmental aids in social security and welfare, environmental protection, forest regeneration, vaccines and medical equipment for the Covid-19 prevention and control.
