Quang Nam’s growth on the top of Central Vietnam
(QNO) - The size of Quang Nam economy currently is over VND 102,654 billion, ranking 18th out of 63 provinces and cities in terms of GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) and 2nd in the Central key economic region.
Quang Nam provincial economy has initially recovered thanks to synchronous solutions implemented to help local residents and businesses overcome the difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic and natural disasters.
Quang Nam provincial state budget revenue reached nearly VND 23.8 trillion, exceeding the estimate by over VND 4.4 trillion, despite the negative impacts of Covid-19.
The provincial domestic revenue grows stably and sustainably, getting VND 19.56 trillion, accounting for nearly 82.3% of the province’s whole budget revenue, up VND 3,568 billion compared to 2020.
The provincial total mobilized capital was nearly VND 68.8 trillion, up 9.2% compared to early 2021. The total social investment capital was over VND 30.3 trillion, up 5.6% compared to 2020, accounting for 19.7% of GRDP.
At the same time, the GRDP was also estimated to reach VND 60,460 billion, up 5.04% over the same period of 2020.
In spite of negative impacts of Covid-19, 2021 saw an increase of 7.8% in industry and construction.
Consumption index of processing and manufacturing industry increased by 6.6% compared to 2020.
Agriculture, forestry and fishery kept a stable growth rate, increasing by 3.56% over the same period last year. .
