Refreshing tourism products to welcome visitors

(QNO) - A symposium titled Impressive Vietnam: Refreshing to welcome visitors was jointly held by Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee.

The symposium was co-chaired by Nguyen Le Phuc- Deputy Director General of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Le Tri Thanh- Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee, and Editor-in-Chief of Tuoi Tre Newspaper Le The Chu.

There were 150 attendees from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Departments of Tourism of provinces and cities nationwide, travel agencies and others related to tourism industry.

The symposium focused on impressive highlights of Vietnamese tourism such as Ho Chi Minh city exploration through video games, refreshing tourism with unique products, the secret of successful community-based tourism promotion in Sin Suoi Ho (Phong Tho, Lai Chau), the 3-in-1 programme named Night of Return- a combination of traditional cultural performances, countryside food exchange, and natural experience in Vinpearl Nam Hoi An.

CEO of Vinpearl Resort said that Vinpearl is going on strategic cooperation programmes with aviation partners to build up a powerful resort – aviation – service – travel alliance, helping tourists with safe closed high-class service chains.

It is the 2nd time Quang Nam has been chosen for the symposium. The first took place in the summer of 2020. Quang Nam made international tourists impressed by helping them overcome difficulties during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic to return home.

According to Chairman Le Tri Thanh, the symposium was a chance to consider opportunities and challenges of national and local tourism; thereby, there would be strategies for tourism recovery and development in the new normal.

The symposium is one of the activities to stimulate travel demands, support the recovery of Vietnamese tourism inherently under bad impacts of Covid-19.
