Exhibition of Vietnam cultural heritages
(QNO) - The “Vietnam cultural heritage space 2022” exhibition was opened in An Hoi Sculpture Garden in Hoi An city, Quang Nam province on July 8.
The exhibition aims to popularise Vietnam’s unique cultural and natural heritages.
It is also an activity of the National Tourism Year 2022 themed “Quang Nam - A Green Tourism Destination".
At the event, there are a photo exhibition called the Journey through Vietnam’s heritage regions, a programme to present traditional handicrafts, crafts, and craft villages nationwide, an art exchange programme themed Colours of heritages, festivals, folk games, and local cultural exchanges.
The Journey through Vietnam’s heritage regions consists of 200 photos introducing Vietnam’s heritages that have been officially recognised by UNESCO.
They are Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Hue monuments complex, Hoi An ancient town, My Son Sanctuary, Thang Long imperial citadel, Ho Dynasty citadel, Trang An scenic complex, ect.
Besides, the exhibition introduces the local green tourism destinations, models of zero - waste tourism, tourism combined with sports training....
According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, the event is an ideal venue to explore the potential of green tourism.
It also helps to raise the public awareness of protecting environment and cultural heritages which will improve the national and people’s images.
The exhibition lasts until July 13.
