(QNO) - Hoi An with a diversity of tangible and intangible heritages is on the way to a global creative city.

Craftsmanship and craft villages have been playing an important role in the establishment and development of Hoi An. They have all made the prosperity of Hoi An.

It is not surprising that Hoi An is among a few cities in Vietnam joining the UNESCO creative cities network. In this process, Hoi An chooses traditional craft and folk art- the key advantage in the city’s approach.

Reportedly, there are currently 246 cities in the network. They are working together for a common objective: placing creativity and cultural industries at the heart of their development plans at the local level and cooperating actively at the international level.

Traditional crafts and craft villages in Hoi An are lively cultural entities, associated with the development of the city.

The joining of the UNECO creative cities network will help Hoi An with more opportunities for cooperation and sharing, for investment attraction, contributing to the prosperity of the city.
