Hoang Sa, Truong Sa exhibition in Phu Ninh
(QNO) - An exhibition featuring historical and legal evidence on Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos opened in Phu Ninh district (Quang Nam province) on November 1st.
The exhibition entitled “Vietnam's Hoang Sa and Truong Sa: Historical and legal evidence” lasting from November 1st to 3rd aims to introduce maps, documents, and photos of Vietnam’s sovereignty over these archipelagos.
They are collected in Vietnam and from countries around the world, including China, contributing to proving Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos - inseparable parts of Vietnam’s territory.
Accordingly, the exhibition is co-held by the Quang Nam Department of Information and Communications and the Phu Ninh district’s People’s Committee.
The exhibition also aims to give local officials, Party members and people from all strata a better understanding on the history of Hoang Sa and Truong Sa as well as Vietnam’s ownership of these two archipelagos.
Until now, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam has organised 101 exhibitions of maps and documents in order to affirm Vietnam’s sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos in 63 provinces and cities nationwide.
In addition, the exhibitions were also organised in different cities around the world such as in Prague of the Czech Republic in 2017, Paris (France) in 2017, Moscow (Russia) in 2018.
