Typical products of an island commune
(QNO) - The product “Mực rim xé sợi Cô Kiệu” (Ms. Kieu’s simmered squid fibre)- a provincial 3-star OCOP product in 2020 is produced by the Trung Hai Cooperative of Agro- Fishery Products located in Tam Hai island commune of Nui Thanh district (Quang Nam province).
In 2021, Pham Thi Le Na, Director of the cooperative has sent one more product- “Cá đét sấy giòn Cô Kiệu” (Ms. Kieu’s crisp whitespotted conger) to the OCOP programme.
These products are of Na’s provincial start-up project on Ms. Kieu’s dried seafood.
The project was inspired by the rich local resource of seafood, helping consume local fishery products and creating jobs for local people with stable income.
At present, the Trung Hai Cooperative of Agro- Fishery Products is cooperating with some local retail stores (such as Tan Hang mini-mart, Tam Hai seafood shop, Dream Garden vegetables shop, Bamboo shop) and online sales channels (namely Shopee, Lazada, Tiki, etc.) to sell its products.
