Vietnamese delegation from Nam Tra My visits South Korea
(QNO) - A delegation from Nam Tra My district (Quang Nam province, Vietnam) paid a working visit to Hamyang district (Gyeongsangnam, South Korea) from the 6th to the 9th of September.
The visit is aimed at promoting the friendship and cooperation between Nam Tra My and Hamyang.
The delegation from Nam Tra My planned to take part in the 18th Hamyang Wild Ginseng Festival 2023, which takes place from September 7th to 12th. It is considered a chance for two parties to cooperate in the development of ginseng.
Besides, Nam Tra My and Hamyang discussed the seasonal employment programme, the plan for recruitment and seasonal work in Hamyang in 2024; amending some inappropriate contents of the Seasonal Employment Programme; promoting the import of OCOP products from Nam Tra My to Hamyang.
In addition, the delegation of Nam Tra My also visited Vietnamese employees in Hamyang, asking employers there to facilitate their working and living conditions.
On this occasion, Secretary of the Nam Tra My District Party Committee Le Thanh Hung, authorised by the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee, presented the certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Quang Nam provincial People's Committee to the Hamyang district government and Ms. Yeo Deuk Bun in charge of the exchange and cooperation of Hamyang district for their support and contributions to the socio-economic development of Quang Nam province, contributing to the Vietnam - South Korea friendship and cooperation.
