Going to the sculpture gallery in An Bang fishing village (Hoi An city, Quang Nam province), visitors have a chance to listen to the story of wood recycling.

Wood and firewood is collected from estuaries and beaches after every rainy and stormy season to make sculptures.

Several sculptures of animals and cultural icons have been made by talented and skilled carpenters in Kim Bong village.

The recycling of wood and firewood is a creative way to protect environment, creating jobs for the locals, preserving the craft village’s culture.

The gallery is also an attractive and impressive place for visitors to learn about Co Tu ethnicity and Hoi An culture.

In An Bang fishing village, there is also a model of homestay community that is aimed at preserving architectural and cultural values of village. It is built by using local materials that are environmental friendly.

They are walking street, lantern street, ancient-town night, fairs, experiencing daily activities in Hoi An ancient town, one day of a farmer, collecting waste, etc.

Some typical businesses are JackTran's Eco-Tours run by Khoa Tran, The Field by Phan Xuan Thanh, Taboo Bamboo Workshop by Vo Tan Tan, a culinary brand by Trinh Diem Vy- who brings the International Food Festival to Hoi An, etc.

Reportedly, Hoi An is one of 7 cities in the UNESCO project on creative cities network in the field of Crafts and Folk arts.
