Quang Nam products on the rise
(QNO) - More and more OCOP (One Commune, One Product) and agricultural products from Quang Nam are popular with consumers thanks to their good quality, nice designs, reasonable prices.
Thereby, they contribute to the effective implementation of the campaign “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”.
By the end of 2022, Quang Nam owns 268 OCOP products, including 222 3-star, 45 4-star, and one 5-star. Most of them are of food, handicrafts, beverages, and medicinal herbs.
Ha Quang fish sauce is one of the well-known provincial 3-star OCOP products. On average, there are over 100 litres of Ha Quang fish sauce to be sold.
Its consumers are from Quang Nam, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh city, Hanoi, etc. Other famous products are Ngoc Linh ginseng, fine art supplies, silk, cereals, drinks and so on.
In recent years, more and more Vietnamese products have been sold in traditional markets and supermarkets, accounting for 80-90%. In Tam Ky Co.opMart, there has been a space for Quang Nam OCOP and agricultural products.
As can be seen, Quang Nam OCOP and agricultural products with good quality, nice designs and reasonable prices along with advertising and marketing campaigns have persuaded more and more customers to use local products.
In addition, local manufacturers have been encouraged to give priority to local raw materials, and at the same time, to apply science and technology in production to better the quality of products.
At present, Quang Nam has a lot of policies for the development of local products, especially OCOP ones.
The province also supports businesses and manufacturers to create websites, access e-commerce tools, and participate in fairs in order to diversify the forms of buying and selling local products.
Concurrently, Quang Nam has several measures to protect consumers from counterfeit and poor-quality products.
