Ba Ba Hoi braised scad fish to be exported to the US
(QNO) - The signing ceremony of cooperation between Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative and LNS International Corporation took place on July 1 in Tam Ky city, Quang Nam province.
It’s of exclusive distribution of braised scad fish (cá nục rim) and other products made by Ba Ba Hoi Agro-Food Processing Cooperative stateside.
Accordingly, the first batch of braised scad fish will be shipped to the United States via official channels on July 20.
Giving a speech at the signing ceremony, founder of the Ba Ba Hoi Cooperative Huynh Thi Thu Thuy promised to be a reliable partner and to provide the best quality products for LNS International Corporation; thereby introducing the quintessence of Quang Nam culinary culture and local specialities overseas.
Besides braised scad fish, the cooperative provides braised goby, caramelized dried squid, fish nuggets, green square glutinous rice cakes (banh chung xanh), and others.
Braised scad fish is made of fresh scad fishes sourced from the fishing grounds off Quang Nam province, being cooked with sugar, fish sauce, chili, and garlic. So, it is tasty and delicious.
The scad fish is processed at a factory run by the cooperative in the coastal commune of Tam Quang in Nui Thanh district before being transported to its headquarters in Tam Ky city for braising, and packaging.
These steps meet all stringent food safety requirements set by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Via LNS International Corporation, Ba Ba Hoi products will send not only to the U.S. market but also to Europe, Australia, Japan and Singapore.
Reportedly, LNS in coordination with CT Produce Wholesales dba LV Food Supply imports and distributes Vietnamese goods to Vietnamese communities in the United States.
