Tam Thang water recycling plant

(QNO) - Tam Thang water recycling plant started to be constructed at the Tam Thang Industrial Park (Tam Ky city) on 23 March. The construction is the celebration of the 20^th Anniversary of Quang Nam’s re-establishment. Present at the groundbreaking ceremony were leaders of Quang Nam provincial Party Committee and People’s Committee.

Tam Thang water recycling plant covers an area of 2.4ha with a designed capacity of 26,000m³ per day and night. The construction includes two phases; the first is a 13,000m³ water processing plant coming into operation within 2017. The rest is expected to finish in 2019. VND230 billion is invested in the plant by the Renewable Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company. All the equipment and technology of the plant is provided by Evoqua Water Technologies (USA).

Vice chairman of Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh emphasized the importance of the Tam Thang water recycling plant to environmental solutions in such a current condition of climate change. It contributes to water saving, environment and people’s health protection. Mr. Thanh also asked the investor to make efforts to bring the plant into operation soon.
