Indian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam works in Quang Nam
(QNO) - Indian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish had a working session with Quang Nam province’s leaders on August 24.

At the meeting, Secretary of Quang Nam Party Committee Nguyen Ngoc Quang, on behalf of provincial leaders, thanked for Indian supports to the province in such fields as relic restoration and preservation, human resource training. The project of restoration and preservation of the My Son Sanctuary World Cultural Heritage funded by India is very important. Secretary Quang hoped India to continue to help Quang Nam in My Son restoration and create favorable conditions for the province’s cadres to study in India via scholarships.
In reply, Mr.Parvathaneni Harish thanked for Quang Nam’s warm welcome and agreed with the provincial leader’s suggestion. He said there were precious objects found in the past surveys in My Son. So, excavation, archaeology and display of objects in Cham Museum (Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province) will contribute to cultural conservation, helping Vietnamese-Indian experts understand more about Cham culture, and promoting tourism development. At the same time, Indian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam shared experiences in restoration, tourism development and cultural propagation to tourists, etc.
