A manifestation of Vietnam - Laos friendship

(QNO) - The 4-month annual training course of police operations organized by Quang Nam provincial Police in cooperation with Sekong Public Security has come to an end in Sekong province (Laos). The course is one of the manifestations of Vietnam-Laos friendship.

The good traditional Vietnam-Laos relations of solidarity and friendship are being maintained and strengthening. The improvement of police operations is one of the most significant activities in the annual cooperation programme between Quang Nam and Sekong provinces in order to protect the Vietnam-Laos border steadily.  Therefore, the annual training course of police operations was fathered by Quang Nam Police to improve Sekong police’s professional competences. Thereby, the solidary and friendship between Quang Nam and Sekong provinces, Vietnam and Laos become better and better.

There were 50 members in the training course. It started on August, 2017. Besides theoretical knowledge of police operations, the course provided practical information and experience exchanges in order to help the course members have specific knowledge of their career and their area of activity.

According to Colonel Huynh Trung Nguyen, deputy director of Quang Nam Public Security, the training course of police operations is annually held in the collaboration programme between Quang Nam Police and Sekong Public Security. It is the chance for policemen of two provinces to be closer, to exchange their experiences in border security protection and crime prevention. The course will be kept alive in the coming time.
