Meeting with representatives of diplomatic agencies and international organizations in Quang Nam province

(QNO) - The meeting has just been organized by Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee with the participation of its leaders and nearly 350 representatives of diplomatic agencies and international organizations in the locality.

In 2017, many important diplomatic events were held in Quang Nam province, giving a great impression to visitors and international friends. They were the Quang Nam investment promotion conference, the 6th Quang Nam Heritage Festival, South Korean Cultural Days, Hoi An-Japan Cultural Exchange, Quang Nam-Sekong senior officials’ meeting, some activities of the APEC Vietnam 2017, the welcoming programme of Vietnam and Japan’s Prime Ministers to Hoi An ancient town. Besides, 70 international delegations with more than 700 members came to Quang Nam to sign many cooperative agreements. 30 FDI projects with over 200 million USD were licensed, creating employment opportunities for 20,000 local labourers.

On this occasion, 34 collectives and 19 individuals were given certificates for their active contributions to the provincial socio-economic development.
