Anna Papoutsakis wins the Medal for peace

(QNO) - Anna Papoutsakis- an Australian woman has just been given a medal for Peace and Friendship among Nations by the Quang Nam provincial Union of Friendship Organisations.

Mrs. Anna has participated in charitable activities in the Center for raising orphans and Lotus Village in Quang Nam province since 2010. She took care of orphans, sponsored essential commodities such as milk, toys, books and notebooks, clothes, taught life and community integration skills to children. Besides, she had great contributions to helping the disadvantaged people in Tien Phuoc, Que Son and Nong Son districts in Quang Nam and appealed to non-organisations, individuals, businesses from Australia for charitable programmes in the province. She also contributed to propagate Quang Nam’s people and culture to international friends.

On this occasion, Ms. Anna Papoutsakis was honoured to receive the medal for Charitable by Vietnam Red Cross Societies.
